Practical Gifts You Can Donate

Help us care for neighbors with practical items used across our ministries. Browse the lists below and give what you can—every item makes a real difference.

  • 🚨Immediate Needs!
    • Men’s casual pants and jeans (sizes 30, 32, 34)
    • Men’s belts
    • Men’s gloves
    • Boxer briefs underwear (sizes L, XL, 2XL, 3XL)
    • Men’s jackets and hoodies (especially 2XL, 3XL)
    • Backpacks
    • Handwarmers

      (We currently DO NOT need women’s or children’s clothing. We get more of these donations then we can give out. We see lot’s of adult men, which leads to not enough clothes for them, and an overflow of women’s and children’s clothing. We will always post and announce when we need
  • Clothing & Personal Care
    • Men’s jeans/casual pants (waist 30, 32, 34)
    • Men’s boxer brief underwear (M–XXXL, new only)
    • Men’s low-cut socks (new only)
    • Men’s athletic shoes (sizes 10+)
    • Season-appropriate outerwear (all adults)
    • Basic tees, sweatshirts, sweatpants (men/women)
    • Children’s clothing (seasonal basics)
    • Hygiene kits/toiletries (travel or full size)
    • Towels & washcloths (for showers)
  • Food & Service Supplies
    • Shelf-stable groceries (rice, pasta, canned proteins, veggies, soups)
    • Single-serve snacks (granola bars, fruit cups, crackers)
    • Bottled water / coffee / tea
    • Disposable coffee cups, napkins
    • Paper towels
    • 13-gal kitchen trash bags (drawstring)
    • Zip bags, foil, plastic wrap
    • Condiments, seasonings, cooking oil
  • Outreach & Operations
    • Bike tubes (24", 26") & bike locks
    • Sharpies, masking tape, labels
    • Clipboards, nitrile gloves
    • Word-search/activity books
    • Reusable shopping bags / plastic grocery bags
    • Hand warmers, ponchos, umbrellas (seasonal)

How It Works:

  1. Pick a focus — clothing & personal care, food & service supplies, or outreach items.
  2. Set dates & location — a bin at your lobby, front desk, or break room.
  3. Share the word — we’ll send you a flyer + social post copy.
  4. Drop off at HCM — Mon–Fri, 9 AM–12 PM at 1444 Remount Rd, North Charleston.
